- The Persians (472 BC)
- Prometheus Bound (c. 478-430? BC)
- Seven Against Thebes (467 BC)
- The Suppliant Maidens (463 BC); also called The Suppliants or The Suppliant Women
Lost Plays (only fragments have survived):
- Myrmidons
- Nereids
- Niobe
- Phrygians (or, Hector's Ransom)
Another 71 plays that we know of have been attributed to Aeschylus, but only the titles have survived.
